Demand for more screenings for heart condition
Extra heart screenings have been organised in Hornsea by a charity raising awareness of heart conditions in young people.
Last weekend teacher James Moorfoot, 28, collapsed and died while playing football . The English teacher taught at Hornsea School and Language College , where pupils and teachers are still coming to terms with his unexpected death.
Six years ago Josh Fell, 15, a pupil at the same school, also died playing football - prompting his family to support the charity CRY ( Cardiac Risk in the Young) which promotes screening to detect problems which could go undisagnosed.
Josh's father Rich, who organises the events at the school, says demand has become so high in recent days that two extra events have been organised for August 26 and 27. To book click here or call CRY on0203 691 0000.
