Young Leeds dancer to support X Factor's Sam Bailey on UK tour

A 12-year-old whose ambition to become a professional dancer has been supported by the Ann Maguire Educational Fund is another step closer to his dream. Junior Frood from Leeds has been chosen to perform with X Factor winner Sam Bailey on her UK tour.

Junior is a UK Freestyle Street Dance Champion. He first met Sam Bailey in 2014 when he performed at the Leeds Christmas Lights switch on.

He says he is delighted to be joining the singer on her forthcoming UK tour.

Junior has also received a Diana Courageous Citizen Award for overcoming bullying and for helping to raise over £290,000 for charity.
