Protests against Trump's travel ban to take place across region
Protests against US president Donald Trump's controversial travel ban on refugees and people from seven mainly-Muslim countries are planned for cities in our region this evening.
Hundreds of people are expected to join demonstrations across the region with marches taking place in Sheffield, Leeds and York.
They come as the number of signatures to an online petition set up by a Leeds-based solicitor Graham Guest calling for President Trump's state visit to be cancelled, continues to rise past one million.
A leading Imam says the protests against Trump have restored Muslims faith in humanity.
