The Trust that runs Grantham's Accident and Emergency unit has revealed it still hasn't recruited enough doctors to reopen it in full.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust closed the unit overnight for three months back in August, due to staff shortages and safety concerns. That period though was later extended, with a review now planned for February.

The Trust says it now has 19 doctors, which is more than it had in August, but that it needs 21 to reopen the A and E unit in full safely.

But campaigners say the unit should be reopened sooner.
