Inquest hears husband of woman found stabbed to death in burning housing was abusive
An inquest has heard that the husband of a woman found stabbed to death in her burning home was controlling and emotionally abusive.
Susan Ashworth had told Martin Ashworth she wanted a divorce in the weeks before she was killed and their house in Garforth in Leeds set on fire in April 2014.
Martin Ashworth, who had been released early from hospital where he had been sectioned under the mental health act, was found in the garden and died later from burns and smoke inhalation.
The inquest into their deaths continues.
