Bradford MP echoes Chief Constable's call for calm after M62 shooting
One of Bradford's MPs has echoed West Yorkshire's Chief Constable's calls for calm in the city following the death of a man in a police operation.
Yasser Yaqub died after being shot as he sat in a car on the junction 24 slip road in Huddersfield, during a pre-planned firearms operation last Monday night.
It prompted angry scenes in Bradford the following day when a police car was targeted.
Naz Shah the MP for Bradford West welcomed the police's attempts to reassure the community.
