Police investigating the murder of PC Sharon Beshenivsky say they remain determined to find the alleged gang leader who is wanted over her death.

The Bradford officer, who was 38, was shot while investigating an armed robbery at a travel agents in Morley Street 11 years ago today.

Six men were later jailed, but former bouncer Piran Ditta Khan, who allegedly masterminded the robbery, went on the run and remains at large despite a £20,000 reward.

It is thought he fled to Pakistan. He would now be 68 years old.

Detective Superintendent Simon Atkinson, of the West Yorkshire Police Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said the investigation would remain open until all those involved were brought to justice.
