Hopes of 'good reception' for Ched Evans against former club

Chesterfield manager Danny Wilson expects Ched Evans to receive a good reception from both sets of supporters when he comes up against his former club Sheffield United on Sunday.

It will be the first time the 27-year-old has played against the Blades since he was arrested for an allegation of rape more than five years ago. He was found not guilty following a retrial last month.

Evans scored 35 goals in his final season at Bramall Lane in 2012 and Wilson - who was manager of Sheffield United at the time - is hoping he can recapture that sort of form to help lift the Spireites away from the bottom of league One.
