Inside the country's first food waste supermarket

The UK's first food waste supermarket has opened in Leeds.

The shelves at 'the warehouse' in Pudsey are stocked with food thrown out by supermarkets and other businesses, with customers asked to 'pay as you feel' at the tills.

It follows a rise in the number of people using food banks in our region - though the organisation behind the supermarket says it's more about making the best use of produce which would otherwise be thrown away.
