Exclusive: Mother speaks to Calendar about daughter's recovery after near death holiday accident

A mother has spoken exclusively to Calendar about her daughter's amazing recovery after she almost died in a holiday accident.

Laurie Balfour spent a month in a coma in Greece after a gas canister fell on her head in a nightclub in Zante.

Laurie is now slowly recovering in hospital in Doncaster after finally being allowed to fly home. Her mother, Deana Balfour said doctors at the hospital could not believe ' how well she is doing.'

Her family say they will take legal action over what happened - but they are just glad to get their daughter back. Katie Oscroft reports
