A mum's agony: Kerry talks of finding out son may be dead

Kerry Needham, the mother of the Sheffield toddler who disappeared on Kos in 1991, has been told he could have been killed in a digger accident.

In an emotional interview, she told ITV News Calendar how she blames the new witness for 25 years of misery.

South Yorkshire detectives have now told Kerry that they believe Ben died on the day he vanished, after a new witness came forward to say that the toddler had been struck by a JCB digger near where he was last seen.
