37-year-old Richard Jackson, of Ancholme Avenue, Immingham was charged with the following offences overnight and is due to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court this morning:

  • 1 x Possess imitation firearm

  • 2 x Possess an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence

  • 1 x Child Neglect

  • 1 x Criminal Damage to Property

  • 1 x Dangerous Driving

  • 1 x Driving without insurance

  • 1 x Driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence

Police say the investigation into the Ancholme Avenue firearms incident on Monday is very much still on-going and detectives now investigating the finer details of the incident still need to speak to anyone who may have seen shots fired in Alden Close near Barnoldby House.

Officers also need witnesses who saw a dark blue Vauxhall Astra car on a 52 plate allegedly driving dangerously the same day.
