Anger growing over Grantham A&E night closure
There is growing anger over the crisis gripping hospital emergency care in Lincolnshire.
It is a week since NHS bosses ordered Grantham's accident and emergency department to shut at night in order to combat a staffing crisis.
But Calendar has spoken to the family of one local man who suffered a night-time heart attack just 24 hours after the unit was closed.
Billy Thompson lived just five minutes from Grantham hospital, but had to be taken 40 minutes in an ambulance to Lincoln.
His family followed behind - only to find out he died en route.
