Rail fares are set to rise by 1.9% next year, with annual season tickets costing up to £165 more.

Here's how the rise will affect commuters on routes on some of the key routes in our region:

• Leeds to Manchester - was £1,872 - will rise by £35.57

• Leeds to London Kings Cross - was £13,672 - will rise by £259

• Sheff to London Kings Cross - was £10,884 - will rise by £206.80

• Hull to London Kings Cross - was £14,224 - will rise by £270.26

• Leeds to Sheffield - was £2,340 - will rise by £44.46

• Hull to Leeds - was £4148 - will rise by £78.81

• Sheffield to Hull - was £3796 - will rise by £72.12
