Osmonds to help woman complete charity swimming challenge

A woman attempting a 250-mile charity swim will have a helping hand on the final leg of her challenge by a pop superstar.

Linda Carlo, from Auckley, Doncaster, is being joined by Merrill Osmond and his son, Justin for the final mile of her swim.

Linda has been raising money for the Hearing Fund UK, the charity headed by Justin, who is profoundly deaf.

After she completes her 250th mile, Linda and the Osmonds will be releasing 250 balloons from Armthorpe Leisure Centre to celebrate the end of her year long challenge.
