Rugby league to honour tragic Huddersfield Giants youngster Ronan Costello

Ronan Costello was described as inspirational

The Rugby Football League says a minute's applause will be held at all games this weekend in honour of a Huddersfield Giants Academy player who died from head injuries suffered during a game.

Ronan Costello was airlifted to hospital after the incident during a match against Salford City Reds.

Tributes have been paid to him as "an inspiration on the field and a character off the field".

Costello's coach and teacher have spoken to Calendar.
