Zayn Malik pulls out of Summertime Ball because of 'anxiety attack'

Former One Direction star Zayn Malik has apologised to fans after being forced to pull out of a performance because of an 'anxiety attack'.

Malik, who's from Bradford, had been due to perform at the Capital Summertime Ball in London - with his family and friends in the audience.

In a post on his Twitter page, Malik told fans he had been "haunted" by anxiety around live performances for "the last few months". He added that this time his condition "got the better of me".
