Wakefield hooker Scott Moore banned after being found guilty of eye-gouging
Wakefield hooker Scott Moore has been banned for four matches after being found guilty of gouging.
The former St Helens, Huddersfield and London Broncos player denied the offence when he attended a disciplinary hearing at Rugby Football League headquarters in Leeds accompanied by the club's legal representative.
However, after a three-hour hearing, the three-man tribunal found Moore guilty of the grade E offence on Widnes half-back Aaron Heremaia during the club's victory over the Vikings last month.
Moore, who has just completed a two-match ban for a high tackle, will start his suspension at the Magic Weekend but will be free for the Wildcats' Challenge Cup quarter-final against Huddersfield on June 23.
