Mariners to celebrate return to Football League with open top bus tour
Grimsby Town are celebrating their return to the Football League with an open top bus tour and Civic Reception tomorrow.
The Mariners beat Forest Green Rovers at Wembley last weekend in the National League play-off final to return to League Two for the first time in six years.
There will be several road closures in the town tomorrow ahead of the parade.
Here is a list of where the tour will go:
16.30- set off outside from the Youngs stand at Blundell Park, to travel along Grimsby Road, up Isaacs Hill, past O’Neills, onto Alexandra Road, along Kingsway to Cleethorpes Leisure Centre
Right onto Cromwell Road, left onto Hardy’s Road and right onto Chichester Road, across Taylor’s Avenue and onto Trinity Road
Onto Clee Road, around the Lovelane Corner roundabout onto Weelsby Road, across Peak’s Parkway.
Right into Bargate at Nun’s Corner, over the bridge and past Freshney Place continuing along Frederick Ward Way turning right down Victoria Street West and left onto Town Hall Street and the Town Hall.
