Neil Warnock's wife writes thank you letter to Rotherham United supporters
The wife of Rotherham United manager Neil Warnock has written a thank you letter to fans of the South Yorkshire football club.
Sharon Warnock joked about her husband's passion for football, adding she is proud of Neil even if 'he is useless at cooking, cleaning, washing, ironing and a million other things'.
Warnock, who guided the Millers to safety in the Championship, has previously thanked his wife for allowing him to take over at the New York Stadium - during a tough time for his family.
The 67-year old thought he had retired and was planning to spend time with his family, until Sharon was diagnosed with breast cancer last December.
Mrs Warnock had her third bout of chemotherapy in February and that's also when Rotherham came calling with the club three points from safety. After speaking with his wife, the former Sheffield United boss accepted the challenge.
More recently, supporters raised more than £1,000 through a Facebook appeal for her to donate to a charity of her choosing and also sent her a bunch of flowers with a message of thanks.
Today she has written to them.
