Thousands turn out for Ilkley Carnival despite the rain

Thousands of people have turned out for this year's Ilkley Carnivalparade - despite the rain .

Hundreds of schoolchildren took part in the event which has been running now for more than twenty years.

This year's theme was "Best of British" - complete with typical British Bank Holiday weather.
