Hull boxer Tommy Coyle serves up lunch to the city's homeless

Dozens of people have been fed for free at a top Hull restaurant, courtesy of boxer Tommy Coyle. He teamed up with the charity, Emmaus, to put on the Christmas lunch for people without a home and for those who can feel socially isolated at this time of year.

More familiar with dishing out punches in the ring today Tommy Coyle served up Christmas dinner for sixty. The Hull boxer was on hand to pay for a special festive lunch for those who have little else to look forward to this Christmas.

Invited by the charity, Emmaus which supports vulnerable people in finding a job and somewhere to live many of these people don't have a permanent place to call home.

The venue and the staff were even provided for free - to make sure Tommy could deliver a knockout Christmas dinner.
