Sean Bean donates personalised Land Rover for Sheffield United cancer auction
A cancer charity in Sheffield says they are 'overwhelmed' after film and television star, Sean Bean, donated his personalised Land Rover for an auction.
Sheffield United, who Bean is a massive fan of, asked the Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones star to provide an item for a gala dinner the Blades are organising to raise funds for the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity.
They say they were 'stunned' when he donated his 1973 green Land Rover, which has been ‘personalised’ with his signatures and self-penned Blades motifs, for auction at the event at the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire’s Chatsworth House stately home on Sunday.
Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity is the dedicated charity for the Sheffield-based hospital and supports cancer research and to improve the treatment and care for people living with cancer.
