Barlow takes a bow

Gary Barlow took centre stage at his own musical the Girls when he gave a surprise performance of his new anthem Yorkshire.

After the curtain call for the cast he was introduced by his writing partner Tim Firth and burst into song.

The Girls tells the story of the WI ladies from Rylstone in the Dales who stripped for a charity calendar, in song and opened at Leeds Grand theatre on Saturday.
