One Direction launch 24-hour Twitter contest to find world's biggest fans
One Direction are taking over Twitter this weekend in a bid to find their biggest fans.
The boyband is calling on Directioners around the world to tweet using a series of hashtags from midnight GMT on Saturday November 14.
For one day only, fans from 140 countries will battle it out in a Twitter vote to show their loyalty.
Six exclusive Twitter emojis of Louis, Harry, Niall and Liam and their new album Made In The A.M are also being released.
Fans will be able to monitor the live results online and Twitter emojis will be designed for the 10 winning countries.
Made In The A.M is out today and is One Direction's fifth studio album and their first without Zayn Malik, from Bradford, who left the band March.
The group played their final three gigs of a world tour at Sheffield arena at the end of October - giving Doncaster's Louis Tomlinson a chance to play on home soil. The group announced they were taking a break in August - but say they WILL be back.
