Leeds Rhinos hold the advantage over Hull Kingston Rovers in the firstever Challenge Cup final between these sides following a dominantfirst half performance.Leeds controversially made the early breakthrough when Jamie Peacock, playing his last Challenge Cup game for the Rhinos before ironicallyjoining Rovers next year as football manager, powered over beforeappearing to drop the ball. However on video evidence it showed thatthe ball bounced off Peacock's back and Brett Delaney was hand togobble up the chance. The favourites then extended their lead when Danny McGuire went overand the ever reliable Kevin Sinfield kicked the conversion. And it wasn't long before the Rhinos fans were celebrating again.Former Hull FC favourite Tom Briscoe finding a way through Rovers'porous defence to make it 16-0. For once Sinfield's right boot wasn'tit's reliable self as his kick rebounded off the post. The rest of the half played out without much incident, but on thisevidence it's hard to see Rovers preventing Leeds securing their 13thChallenge Cup win.
