Former Blue Peter presenter John Noakes missing in Majorca
The Yorkshire-born tv star John Noakes, who presented Blue Peter for 12 years in the 1960s and 70s, has reportedly gone missing from his Spanish home.
His wife reported him missing after he didn't return to his home in Majorca this morning.
Local police have joined the search.
The 81-year-old, who was born in Shelf near Halifax, became one of the country's most famous presenters when he took on the Blue Peter role, often accompanied by his dog Shep.
