Stephanie Hirst set for return to radio

Radio DJ Stephanie Hirst is to return to radio, after 12 months off the airwaves.

Stephanie was a favourite on Capital and Gold before leaving in June 2014. Later that year she announced that she was changing her name from Simon to Stephanie and was in the process of gender transitioning.

Supporters started a campaign to bring her back to radio, but have had to wait just over six months for that to finally happen.

She made her first television appearance on Lorraine and has since presented a slot on the show.

She makes her return to radio this Saturday at 10pm.
