Meet the Yorkshire tennis ace tipped for stardom
Beverly's Kyle Edmund is being talked about as the biggest threat to Andy Murray's reign as king of British tennis and after winning his first senior event he's determined to continue his rise up the world rankings.
Training hard down at the National tennis centre in Roehampton, just outside London. He knows there's a long way to go before he can compete at the very highest level in world tennis. But he's certainly making inroads.
In January he played the Australian Open - the first time he'd qualified for a grand slam on merit. He followed that up by winning his first senior event in Hong Kong.
Born in South Africa, Kyle moved to Beverley with his family when he was just three-years-old. Every Saturday morning his mum Denise took Kyle and his sister Kelly to the local leisure centre. There began Kyle's love affair with tennis.
His talent was such that at the age of 13 he left home to attend the National Sports Centre at Bisham Abbey. Five years later Kyle received the first of two wild cards to play at Wimbledon. He has yet to win a match on the biggest stage in tennis, but feels that is just a matter of time.
Kyle's win in Hong Kong catapulted him into the worlds top 150 players. But as his stock continues to rise, the young man from Beverley's feet remain firmly on the ground.
