Former Chesterfield MP Tony Benn, who died last week at the age of 88, is to be given the rare posthumous honour of having his body rest in a parliamentary chapel overnight before his funeral.

Mr Benn will be only the second politician in recent years to be laid to rest in Westminster's Chapel of St Mary Undercrof. The other was Baroness Thatcher. Today at Prime Minister's Questions, David Cameron paid tribute to the veteran Labour MP

Our Political Correspondent, Paul Brand, tweeted as both sides of the house spoke highly of the former MP.

The late MP's son also posted to thank well wishers following his father's death.
