Karl Robinson 'not held talks with Sheffield United'
Karl Robinson's agent insists the MK Dons boss has not held talks with Sheffield United about their vacant managerial post.
Reports emerged on Wednesday night that Robinson, who guided the Dons to a 1-0 win at Bramall Lane in August, was in discussions with the Blades about succeeding David Weir who was sacked last week following a poor start to the season.
However, Rob Segal, Robinson's agent, has totally dismissed the rumours and insists his client is fully committed to the Milton Keynes club.
"There have been no talks with Sheffield United and I am not entirely sure where that story has come from," Segal told Press Association Sport
"Karl has a club, he has a job which he is focused on. He has a project at Milton Keynes Dons and he is committed to that, like he has publicly said many times."
The Blades' 3-2 defeat at Coventry last Sunday left them rooted to the bottom of the Sky Bet League One table with just five points from 11 matches.
Chris Morgan took charge of the team for the game at Northampton's Sixfields stadium and he is likely to remain at the helm for the home fixture against Port Vale this weekend.
Former Derby manager Nigel Clough, sacked by the Rams on September 28, has also been linked with the job at Bramall Lane.
However, it is understood Clough wants to agree a settlement with Derby over his departure before considering another position.
