Spitfire Fly Past at Garforth Golf Club
Those on the course and in the clubhouse at Garforth Golf Club will get to watch an early afternoon flypast of a Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight stationed at RAF Coningsby.
One of the highlights of any golf year is Captain's Day and this year at Garforth it will be extra special, as the club marks its Centenary.
200 golfers are expected on Captain's Day, pausing their matches as the Spitfire, piloted by Wing Commander Paul Godfrey, will undertake three circuits of the golf course at approximately 2.00pm.
