New restrictions are being introduced as a trial in three parts of North East Lincolnshire, where motorists will be fined for driving or parking on grass verges.

The new rules, will come into force in Waltham, New Waltham and Immingham in April, once new signs are put up - and mean motorists could be fined £70 if they're caught.

The council says signs which are currently displayed stating there will be a £500 fine are incorrect, and relate to an historical by-law.
