Police need help getting woman's cash back

Police in Scarborough are appealing for help to find a woman who may be able to help reunite cash with its rightful owner.

A 65-year-old local woman withdrew the money from a cash point at Tesco in Westwood at about 8.15am on Saturday 22 December 2012.

However, the woman mistakenly walked away from the machine with the cash still in the dispenser. When she returned the money was not there.

The woman reported the incident to the police and enquiries began including checking CCTV footage.

The footage shows another woman approach the cash point soon after the money was left.
