Shoplifting suspects: can you help police find them?

South Yorkshire Police have released CCTV images of suspected shoplifters today in a bid to tackle a rise in retail crime.

There have been almost 500 extra offences so far this year across the county.

That’s an increase of 17% on the previous year.

Police would like to speak to the people shown in the CCTV stills as part of investigations into alleged shoplifting offences. The images of 40 people have been published online. Click here for more.
