91-year-old is 12 times ping pong World Champ

Les D'Arcy from Wakefield is not your typical 91-year-old. He is the star of a new film - Ping Pong - about veteran athletes.

It follows athletes around the world as they make their way to Inner Mongolia to compete in the 80+ age groups of the World Table Tennis Championships.

Les, from Wakefield, is known for his weightlifting and poetry. Last year, "for a change" he went to California for an athletics tournament. He competed in shot, discuss, hammer and even the high jump.

Les has amazingly overcome cancer 14 times, and is 12 times world table tennis champion.
