Organisers say regrettably the event is off as the bad weather hits

The organisers of MFEST have announced they are the cancelling the two day music and food event.

They say they regret the decision but are having to abandon the event at Harewood House near Leeds because of adverse weather conditions and extreme weather warnings issued by the Met Office.

30,000 people were expected to attend, but the organisers say the decision has been made or safety reasons.

Information about ticket refunds will be issued on 9 July.
