Lifeguards begin summer patrols in East Yorkshire
Beaches in East Yorkshire are going to be patrolled by Royal National Lifeboat Institution lifeguards when they start their weekend summer safety patrols this weekend.
A total of seven lifeguards will patrol Bridlington North and South beaches and will be on hand to ensure visitor safety over the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Holiday.
RNLI lifeguard patrols will continue to operate every weekend on Bridlington North and South beaches until Saturday 7 July, when a seven-day-a-week service commences, running until Sunday 2 September.
