Greek police deny reports Ben Needham was buried

Greek police have denied they are seeking help from British authorities to use high-tech equipment to dig for Ben Needham's body.

And Ben's mum Kerry, from Sheffield, says Ben wouldn't be there, as she firmly believes he's still alive.

It's being reported Greek police believe Ben, who was 21 months old when he went missing, is buried under a pile of rubble just yards from the villa the family were staying in in Kos at the time.

In 1991, the ground was being dug up to build a new house down the road.

He went missing on July 24, 1991, when his mum Kerry, from Sheffield, left him with her parents Eddie and Christine while she went to work in a hotel.

The couple took Ben to a farmhouse owned by Greek friend Michaelis Kypreos.

The grandparents were eating lunch when Christine realised Ben had gone quiet while playing outside. They couldn’t find him and contacted police.

There have been more than 300 false sightings of Ben in Greece and across Europe.

Kerry’s theory is that Ben was snatched from the property by someone driving a white car.
