A crossing patrol warden who has worked with pupils at a North Yorkshire school for over 25 years is having to leave her job.

Margaret Lund's job is now being axed due to council funding cuts. Today parents and pupils have been protesting about the decision.

North Yorkshire County Council says the pelican crossing outside the school is sufficient to keep pedestrians safe. But campaigners disagree and are still hopeful they can put a stop to the plan to lose their lollipop lady.
