Menston residents battle on

Hundreds of residents are expected to turn out in Menston tonight as they fight plans for 300 new homes in their village. Plans have been approved to develop two former green belt sites. But campaigners against it are now mounting a serious of legal challenges. Their solicitors will update them at tonight's meeting in the village hall. Meanwhile, fundraising to pay for the challenge has begun in earnest with £10,000 raised in just one week.
