Convicted dad steps down from wife's charity
A Huddersfield dad who used his dead wife's name to avoid speeding offences has stepped down from the charity he set up in her memory.
Joanne Bingley died in April 2010 after suffering from post-natal depression following the birth of her daughter Emily Jane two months before.
Christopher Bingley set up the Joanne (Joe) Bingley Memorial Foundation to support women suffering from the condition.
Last month he was pleaded guilty to using his wife's name after her death to avoid speeding fines. A statement from the foundation says he has stepped down as founder and spokesperson to concentrate on personal matters.
