Reports of child injured by falling electronic screen at new Dumfries school
A nursery child has been injured by a falling electronic whiteboard at the North West Community Campus in Dumfries, according to reports.
Several parents have contacted ITV Border to report the incident.
ITV Border has approached Dumfries and Galloway Council for comment and they are yet to respond.
It's the second incident where a student has been injured since the £28million school opened less than three weeks ago.
Just three days after the school opened, it was closed when a six-year-old pupil was hurt by a sliding door coming off its rails.
ITV Border has also received a report that part of the ceiling in the secondary school has fallen down and the building has been evacuated.
We will provide updates as they are confirmed.
