168th Grasmere Sports Day braves the rain
Hundreds of competitors and spectators braved the downpours for the 168th Grasmere Lakeland sports day.
It has only been cancelled in the past during the first and second world wars. It's one of the few events in the Lake District where people can take part in traditional games including Cumberland Wrestling, Fell Running and Hound Trails.
Some events were delayed due to the rain but spirits certainly weren't dampened.
