Woman in critical but stable condition after Penrith crash
Police have confirmed that a woman who was left with "life altering" leg injuries after a crash in Penrith is in a critical but stable condition.
The centre of Penrith was brought to a standstill yesterday afternoon after the crash involving three cars and a pedestrian.
The injured woman was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle where she remains receiving treatment.
