All lanes open on M6 Northbound

Vehicle and debris clean up Credit: Highways England

All lanes have reopened on the M6 Northbound between J36 (Kirkby Lonsdale) and J37 (Kendal).

This comes after a lorry caught fire on the northbound carriageway about 1am on Wednesday 9 May.

Lane 1 was closed for over 24 hours, due to debris clean up and barrier repairs.
