Date set for decision over Thirlmere zip wire plans

A date has been set for a decision to be made on the controversial plans for a zip wire attraction to be built across Thirlmere.

The Lake District National Park will hold their meeting on Wednesday 7 March 2018, a month later than anticipated.

A petition objecting to the application has received 13,535 signatures. There have also been 3,476 letters and emails of objections and 163 in favour.
