11 October 2017 at 1:35pm Rail services cancelled and delayed Credit: National Rail A number of rail services in Cumbria are delayed or cancelled due to heavy rain causing flooding in the county. Trains between Carlisle and Maryport are cancelled, with a road replacement service in place. Trains on the West Coast mainline could be delayed up to 60 minutes due to a speed restriction near Oxenholme. National Rail says the disruption is expected to last until 6.00pm.
