Queen of the South travelled to promotion favourites Dundee, but it was a disappointing result, losing 2-1.

Elsewhere, Stranraer suffered a 3 - nil defeat at the hands of Raith Rover.

Annan Athletic and Berwick Rangers also lost their away games.
