American writer and producer of Netflix drama, House of Cards, is bringing her latest play to Cumbria. Laura Eason's, Remarkable Invisible, is to have it's world premiere at Keswick's Theatre by the Lake.

The production, 'a compelling and moving family drama', is directed by Zoë Waterman and involves the actors; Matt Addis, Ian Barritt, Eliza Hunt and Alice Selwyn - all involved in the smash hit production Handbagged.

Theatre by the Lake say they are delighted to be premiering Laura's latest play here in Cumbria.

The play is a lot about who your parents are and what you inherit from them. How you form yourself, whether you try to imitate them or rebel against them. And it’s about the ways in which everyone can have a different view of the reality of their family.”

– Laura Eason, Producer, Remarkable Invisible

Remarkable Invisible will play in the theatre’s intimate Studio space from 11 August to 4 November. Further information can be found at www.theatrebythelake.com.
